The M.Tech. program in "Computational Mechanics (Mechanical Engineering)" is an innovative and interdisciplinary program that blends mechanical engineering principles with computational techniques. It offers students a unique opportunity to delve deep into the world of simulations and modeling, enabling them to tackle complex engineering problems with precision and efficiency. As the program coordinator, I am delighted to lead an initiative that bridges the realms of mechanical engineering and advanced computational methodologies. We are obliged to provide a state-of-the-art teaching-learning environment that strives for our students to get an education beyond engineering. It requires a fine integration of teaching-learning techniques with research and innovation. There is a greater need to educate students in the fundamentals of ethics, social awareness/commitment, and human values.
