Tree Plantation Activity on ‘Earth Day’ Occasion.

Tree platation activity was conducted is with NSS & ISHRAE Student member on the occasion of Earth day on 22 April 2022 in PCCoE Campus.

Guest lecture on “Symbiosis of Mother Earth & Human Beings”

We have successfully organized guest lecture on “Symbiosis of Mother Earth & Human Beings” on occasion of Earth Day, 22nd April 2022 for all students of Engineering & Architecture. The main focus of this session was to aware students that how impact of human activity & system developed by human for his comfort, on environment & what are the remedial action need to taken to make our environment more healthy.

Guest lecture on “Influencer Become an Entrepreneur”

We have successfully organized guest lecture on “Influencer Become an Entrepreneur” on 11th April 2022 for all SE, TE & BE Mechanical Students. The main focus of this session was to aware student that how ISHRAE membership is beneficial to all students in there college as well as professional life.

Techno Chill Event Held At COEP

Techno chill is one of flagship event for all ISHRAE students. Every year students were eagerly waiting for this event to present their technical knowledge to all industrial fraternity. This event gives immense opportunity to students to showcase their talent to others.

ISHRAE Job Junction 2019

PCCOE in association with ISHRAE pune chapter had organized Job junction for final year engineering students at PCCOE campus in 23rd and 24th January 2019. Prof. Abhijeet Kore had appointed as ISHRAE Job Junction Coordinator for Pune chapter.

Students got shortlisted through online aptitude test conducted on November 2018 at their respective institutes. 105 students from PCCOE (highest all over India) shortlisted for job junction. Many major and minor industries from the field of HVAC&R were recruited students during Job Junction 2019.

Guest Lecture On “Building Energy Codes & Standards”

The expert session on “Building Energy Codes & Design” was held on 30th January, 2019. Mr. Akshay Pahade, Consultant, Gratitude Synergy LLB, Pune was invited as an expert for the same.

During the session Mr. Pahade emphasized on the importance of building energy conservation and the need for skilled manpower in this arena. He gave details on different standards such as ASHRAE 90.1, ECBC, Griha and LEED codes used for building certification.

There were about 48 participants of which about 30 students were from UG and 18 students from SY&FYME(Heat Power). A very positive feedback about the lecture was received and a longer duration course in the future on the same topic is planned.

Guest Lecture on “Opportunities and challenges for women engineers in industries” & “What attract Indian engineers to settle overseas”.

An outstanding session for girls was held on 12th January 2019 which brought in new wings and motivation for girls. Renowned names from the HVAC INDUSTRY and VOLKSWAGEN GROUP had come for the session. This session was truely dedicated to female engineers to boost them.

Ms. Anthonette Miller from the Volkswagen group (Production Head and Industrial Engineering) spoke about global scenario about women in industries. It was a highly motivational session. The next speaker was Amisha Madan who is zonal chair, women in ishrae.

She spoke on generalized motivational topic and about pros & cons of settling overseas. Also she shares her thoughts about the importance of career opportunities in HVAC for women candidates.
