In addition to Central Library, a well-equipped Departmental Library is functioning in the department catering to the needs of faculty and students with seating arrangement. Departmental library is equipped with 1151 books which cover the syllabus of undergraduate course in Mechanical Engineering as well as competitive examinations such as GATE. It facilitates better accessibility and learning of students.

General Rules

1. The students must carry their Identity cards to the library.
2. Renewal of the books is mandatory for students on or before due date.
3. Use of mobile phone in the library is prohibited.
4. Silence has to be observed in the library.
5. Avoid making pencil/pen marks, underlining, scribbling and tearing pages in the books/journals.
6. On leaving the Library, users are required to show books and other items being taken out of the Library.
7. Consumption of food is not permitted in the Library.
8. Consult the Library staff on duty for any other information, suggestions and issues.
9. Open during 09:00am to 05:00pm from Monday to Friday.
