About us
Team Maverick is a multifaceted motorsport team at Pimpri Chinchwad college of Engineering Pune. We design, innovate, manufacture and test fixed Wing Radio controlled planes. The main aim of the team is to Participate in SAE ADC (Aero Design Challenge) organised by SAE India and SAE International. We also develop the application based on aeroplanes manufactured for competitions.
The team was founded in 2021 and is about to manufacture its first aircraft. Putting all the brainstorming, design and sleepless nights together, the team aims to be part of the expanding field and we are committed to build better aircraft in the future and contribute to society. The team aspires to develop an application that will help society over a period of time.

The main objective of the team is SAE ADC and the application. This competition provides a platform for undergraduate engineering students with challenges of real-life engineering. This competition prompts the participants to conceive, design and develop a fixed-wing UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle).

Team Maverick India, is a dynamic aero team from Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune. It is a dedicated group of students who have been soaring towards the skies, driven by the passion for aeronautics in the pursuit of innovation.
Team Maverick was established in 2021. It designs, innovates, fabricates and tests fixed-wing UAVs. Putting all the brainstorming, design and sleepless nights together, the team aims to be part of the expanding field and is committed to building better aircraft in the future and contributing to society. The team aspires to develop an application that will help society over a period of time.
The team's objective is to allow students to transcend themselves and sharpen their skills in the aero domain. The team is enriching this learning experience by participating in a hands-on engineering challenge at the Aero Design Series at the national and international levels. Apart from this, team ventures comprise Project and resource management skills, Team collaboration, and the Application of industry rules and regulations. The team strives to be part of the expanding field and is devoted to building more promising aircraft in the future and contributing the society in terms of applications. Apart from this team is also gaining knowledge by participating in various other events like Aakruti, KPIT Sparkle, Nationa Movers Summit and other sessions. We have also conducted a few workshops to spread our knowledge.
