About us
Robocon is an inter-national level robotics competition held in various Asian countries organized by Asia Broadcasting Union (ABU). In India the event is organized by ‘Doordarshan’. Each year in the month of August a theme is proposed by one of the country for the contest.
The statement is very challenging and give student brains a real engineering exercise. Each year two robots are manufactured, Autonomous and Manual. These are designed and build by the students from Mechanical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer and Information technology. Through this they gained knowledge of all the disciplines like manufacturing, purchase, sensors selection, programming etc. This helps students to sharpen their skills and to work as a homogeneous team, which helping them in their careers.
By participating in such international competitive event, student confidence to face difficult challenges and critical demanding situations improves. PCCOE is participating in this event since 2012. Following are the themes of each year and the team position in it.

Robocon 2020
Theme: To play rugby 7’s game using two robots and five obstacles as five defending players. Slogan 'ROBO Rugby 7s', from Fiji
Venue: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi

Robocon 2019
Theme: “Great Uruttu’ which means exchanging information for long distance. The slogan is ‘Sharing the Knowledge’, from Mongolia.
