Robocon is an inter-national level robotics competition held in various Asian countries organized by Asia Broadcasting Union (ABU). In India the event is organized by ‘Doordarshan’. Each year in the month of August a theme is proposed by one of the country for the contest.

The statement is very challenging and give student brains a real engineering exercise. Each year two robots are manufactured, Autonomous and Manual. These are designed and build by the students from Mechanical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer and Information technology. Through this they gained knowledge of all the disciplines like manufacturing, purchase, sensors selection, programming etc. This helps students to sharpen their skills and to work as a homogeneous team, which helping them in their careers.

By participating in such international competitive event, student confidence to face difficult challenges and critical demanding situations improves. PCCOE is participating in this event since 2012. Following are the themes of each year and the team position in it.
