The department of Mechanical Engineering has successfully organized 1st baby conference on ‘Innovations in Mechanical Engineering, “MechXplore,2025 on 22st March,2025.The Baby Conference is organized to encourage the young minds to learn about the latest trends, innovations, and research in various domains and to evaluate the student’s performance for Formative Assessments of some subjects for the students of Second Year, Third Year and Final Year. The objective of this conference is knowledge sharing, networking, awareness and education, expert access, team work, time management; enhance writing, presentation and communication skills etc. The Conference was inaugurated at the hands of, and Experts and total 258 students from SY,TY and B.Tech. have participated and presented their research findings in the form of research paper and or review paper, under 5 tracks-Design for future, Manufacturing Excellence, Future Mobility, Entrepreneurship and Thermo-Fluidics. Chief guests shared their research experience and guided students to develop research mindset. Industry experts from relevant field worked as a track chair and enlightened students with valuable inputs and future research perspective to strengthen the outcome of their research. Each group is evaluated out of 50 marks based on rubrics like Technical depth and Rigor(10), Clarity of presentation(10), Methodology and Research approach(10), Quality of results/interpretation(10),Overall contribution and impact(10) and 10 top scorers from each track was awarded wih ‘Best Paper awards’.
