The course work shall be treated as prerequisite for PhD Programme. PhD course work shall be of 16 credits.

The PhD Course work shall consist of the following components:

Course 1	Research Methodology(Including Quantitative methods, Computer applications, research ethics and review of published research in the relevant field, training, field work, etc).	4 credits
Course 2	Writing of Research Proposal for obtaining Financial assistance from national funding agencies	1 credit
Course 2	Writing of Reviews.	1 credit
Course 2	Seminars	2 credits
Course 3	Subject specific advanced level course.	8 credits

PhD Research Center – Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering & Electronics and Tele-Communications Engineering Departments organized / conducted ISTE Approved two week STTP on, “Research Methodology and Optimization Techniques”, for Research Scholars from three centers during 6th May to 16th May 2019.

• The STTP was designed to impart the participants with knowledge of research methods, research process, and use of research tools and techniques, writing and presentation skills to the researchers.
• In this two weeks STTP,
  • there were total 30 sessions by 23 speakers. 17 speakers from PCCOE and 5 speakers from other reputed institutes.
  • Participants included PhD Research Scholars (9+11+5 = 25), PG Students and Faculty members (25).
• Written Exam was conducted on 8th and 10th June 2019.
• Coursework Result submitted to SPPU.
